Please note: The new Edge browser, part of the recent Windows 10 release, is NOT supported by the MFRMLS webinar software (WebEx) at this time. Please use Internet Explorer. Click here to download a helpful guide that explains how to switch from Edge to Internet Explorer on your Windows 10 platform.

What operating systems and browsers does the MFRMLS webinar software (WebEx) support?

With the exception of Edge, MFRMLS webinars support most recent and major operating system versions and browsers, including Windows and Mac operating systems, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari. Click here for a full list of supported browsers and systems.

Using Edge? Click here to download a helpful guide that explains how to switch from Edge to Internet Explorer on your Windows 10 platform.

What is the webinar link?

Visit http://webinars.mfrmls.com and click on the webinar you previously registered for.

WebEx is asking me to register. I thought I already registered through the GoPher It portal?

You need to complete your registration through WebEx. You previously registered through the GoPher It portal, but you also need to register through WebEx. We are working on a simpler solution, so that you are not required to register multiple times. In the meantime, please fill out the required information in WebEx in order to complete registration.

3. Basic Trouble Shooting

There are several basic troubleshooting steps one can follow to correct many issues with your PC and MAC computers the two most common steps will be to restart the machine and clear the Cache or Temporary Files.

Use this Link to see how to clear cache on all browsers.

Several reasons for clearing the cache/temporary files would be:  trouble logging in, system running slow, or if receiving error messages.

4. DigitalMillenium Copy Right Act

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) provides a “Safe Harbor” to online service providers that shields them from copyright liability for the display of infringing content loaded by another brokerage.  An example would be the display on your IDX site of an infringing photo loaded by another office.

These days, lawsuits surrounding the use and ownership of listing photos is not an uncommon trend.

Unless you’re certain every listing photo displayed on your website (regardless of the listing ownership) has the proper rights for use, you could potentially be at risk for a similar lawsuit.

The DMCA protects customers affected by the use of an image with copyright issues, but it does not protect the person who originated the infringed photo.

Benefits of This Option

This is a great solution for agents who have a website, but don't want to hire an outside vendor to install IDX. You don't have as many design and customization options as you would with registering for IDX through RE Data Vault, but this is a simple solution.
